On July 1, 2021, the most recent round of Investor Category 2 Expressions of Interest (EOIs) was selected.

As a result, 9 EOIs with scores ranging from 32 to 85 were selected.

A total of 31 applicants will now be subjected to preliminary verification in order to decide whether or not they will be granted an invitation to apply for residency.

After the selection, there are no EOIs remaining in the pool.

Canada has made the most recent update to its Express Entry programme. To qualify for Express Entry, an immigrant must meet the new Proof of Funds. Both the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) have been updated to reflect these changes (FSTP). This new adjustment does not apply to you if you have a genuine employment offer from one of these programmes. The new update will begin on July 15, 2021, at the latest.

Note that you must include your spouse or dependent children in your calculations, even if they are:

• permanent residents or Canadian citizens
• not coming to Canada with you
